International Safety Awards 2010 - Health and Safety Award with Merit

The British Safety Council is committed to promoting higher standards of health, safety and environmental management through the provision of relevant qualifications that meet the needs of learners and employers at all levels and across all sectors.

 

Specialists Awards 2011 - Training Finalist

The awards are one of the construction industry's most notable annual events, recognising and rewarding the best specialist contractors in the business, for 18th categories, run by Construction News and with the support of the National Specialist Contractors Council and The National Federation of Demolition Contractors. Winning an award, or even making the shortlist, provides any company with a competitive edge, recognition from clients and a morale boost.

 

CSCS - Construction Skills Certification Scheme

Platinum Award for Health and Safety - this award demonstrate that the company is committed to improving competence in construction and has registered more than 90% of its workforce under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others.

ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System

ISO 9001 is an internationally-recognised standard for quality management, ensuring that organisations have proven processes in place to meet customer requirements.

 

ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System

ISO 14001 is an internationally-recognised certificate for evaluating how well an organisation manages its environmental responsibilities.

 

OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

OHSAS 18001 is a UK standard enabling businesses to measure and demonstrate their commitment to Occupational Health and Safety.

 

Building Confidence Accreditation Certified by Achilles

This accreditation confirms the ability to provide a quality services to all clients in respect of Health & Safety rules and to protect the environment. Achilles' rigorous procedure includes a wide range of criteria for the relevant practices of health, safety, environment, financial, legal and personnel, which are fully valued and audited, in order to provide customers with evaluated performance indicators. Building Confidence is a collaborative supply chain accreditation standard designed for the construction industry, providing an effective solution for managing supply chain risk in the areas of safety, sustainability, CSR, quality and financial stability. 

 

NICEIC Approved Contractor                     

Approved Contractor status under the NICEIC accredited certification scheme for electrical works confirms the ability to competently inspect and test electrical installations and carry out work that complies with Building Regulations and meet National Safety Standards. Enrolment is subject to the business continuing to comply with the NICEIC requirements, which will be monitored by NICEIC during surveillance visits.

 

MCS – NICEIC Approved Installer            

This Accreditation certify that PiLON has been assessed as an MCS Approved Installer in the supply, design, installation, set to work, commissioning and handover, in accordance with the requirements of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, in respect of the following technologies: MIS 3002 - Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Microgeneration System. The scheme is design to protect the consumer by ensuring the independent evaluation of microgeneration products and installers.

 

REAL Assurance Scheme Certificate

PiLON achieved certification for the REAL Assurance Scheme, this was set up by Renewable Energy Association (REA), for the supply of renewable and micro heat and power generators to domestic consumers. The Code recognises that PiLON can deliver goods and electrical services that will perform properly and meet the quality standards as required by the PV industry.

 

BSC - British Safety Council

BSC provides Qualifications at all levels and across all sectors.  For more than 50 years the British Safety Council has been a champion of workplace health and safety. They are the only awarding body to offer a complete suite of health and safety qualifications in the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework. They also offer qualifications in environmental management and a suite of international qualifications.

 

CHAS - The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

Participating in the CHAS scheme helps both suppliers and buyers. CHAS assesses applicants: Health and Safety policy statements, their organisation for health and safety, their specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to our buyers and to others.

 

Construction Line - Public and Private sector procurement

Constructionline is the Government's national register for suppliers. In the same way CHAS offers a tool for use in the health and safety element of pre-qualification, Constructionline provide the pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing, technical references and other areas. The CHAS management group supports the principles of a single register and so works jointly with Constructionline.  Constructionline helps both sides of the deal (suppliers and buyers) saving everyone time, money and hassle in the process.

 

ROSPA - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents

ROSPA is a registered charity and have been at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world for more than 90 years. To be a ROSPA member demonstrates the company commitment to accident prevention at work and the respect for people life.

 

FMB - Federation of Master Builders & EBC – European Builders Confederation

This accreditation certifies that the company has been registered as a Member of the Federation of Master Builders. The Firm has signed the Federation’s Declaration of Policy: “To promote excellence in the construction of buildings and just and honourable practice in the conduct of business and to suppress malpractice.”

 

FMB master Bond - Federation of Master Builders Trust Mark

National Register of Warranted Builders Certificate of Membership certifies that the company has been registered as a member of the Warranty Register. The Member has met the requirements of the Registration Board and has sign the specific undertaking set out in the rules of the Warranty Register.

 

Gas Safe Register

This registration Certificate is to certify that the company is enrolled on the Gas Safe Register of gas engineers and is therefore deemed a member of a Class of Persons approved by the relevant health and safety enforcement agency, in accordance with current gas safety legislation in force.

 

HVCA – Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association

The Mark of Quality in Heating and Ventilating.

The HVCA is the UK's leading professional body for building engineering services contractors. Founded in 1904, it adds value to members' businesses by providing quality services, promoting excellence and shaping the commercial environment through representation and leadership. The HVCA represents the interests of firms active in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) products and equipment.  HVCA members are subject to regular, third-party inspection and assessment to ensure their technical and commercial competence. Members benefit from access to a wide range of services, which are carefully tailored to their needs, and which help them to build better and more profitable businesses. All HVCA members are subject to a thorough Inspection & assessment process carried out by an independent third party every three years. Introduced in 2003, this process reinforced membership of the HVCA as a true 'badge of quality'.

 

Environment Agency

The Environment Agency is an Executive Non-departmental Public Body responsible to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and a Welsh Government Sponsored Body responsible to the Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development. Being a member of this agency proves that the principal aims are to protect and improve the environment, and to promote sustainable development.
