DESCRIPTION

PiLON is delivering a significant contract of kitchen and bathroom replacement work on behalf of the housing association Metropolitan Thames Valley (MTVH). The contract commenced in January 2019 for a duration of 6 years, with the potential to extend the contract by a further 6 years in 2025 and an average annual value of £2.25 million.

We deployed a competent, experienced, and reliable team for this project including Divisional Manager Matthew McDonough, Contracts Manager Adrian Ciobanu, Electrical Manager George Ciubotariu, and Commercial Surveyor Jodie Lavender. Customer feedback demonstrates the team have been providing an excellent delivery and customer experience for residents across London.

Two years into the project, MTVH have now extended their requirements to include Kitchen and Bathroom Replacements in additional areas of London and in the Midlands, which will commence in April 2021 and be completed by March 2022. The increased scope totals 1000 units, 700 more than our expected allocation, and increases the contract value to over £5million per annum.

The same team of talented individuals are overseeing the extended scope of works and are busy overcoming the resultant challenges of going from 10 installations per week to an impressive 30 installations every week. The team have shown their adaptability to deliver the additional requirements, such as the need for kitchens and bathrooms designed for the elderly, involving shower rooms as opposed to standard bathrooms, and specialist appliances in the kitchens to support those with physical disabilities/limitations.
