It’s great to enjoy some long-awaited normality at the weekends again, especially seeing U10 – Green Team, Wealdstone Youth FC sponsored by PiLON and managed by Electrical Manager George Ciubotariu back doing what they do best. After promotion from Division 5 to 4 at the end of last season, the team are hoping for further promotion to Division 3 and we look forward to following their wins for the coming weeks!
We are contracted to refurbish Voids to a lettable standard as required by Hillingdon Council. In reality, we are responsible for peoples’ homes – the place where they go for a warm shower and roast dinner after a football match on a chilly Sunday morning. Understanding this responsibility is what it means to be a contractor partner to clients in the Social Housing Sector and is what drives our efforts at every stage of a project.
This is our second year of sponsorship, which we undertook as a Social Value commitment to Hillingdon Council upon contract award. The delivery team for this Voids project include Divisional Manager Matthew McDonough, Contracts Manager Ionut Ruscan, Site Manager Alin Bunea and Quantity Surveyor Dragos Ilie. The team has been praised for the efficient and robust methods used to mobilise this contract during the pandemic in April 2020 and we are consistently achieving 100% compliance against the project KPIs. In addition to managing sporting stars of the future, Electrical Manager George Ciubotariu is ensuring the electrical compliance of all electrical works for the contract.
Best of luck to U10 Green Team for the rest of the season, and special thanks to George for the great work you are doing with them.
